Topless windsurfers spotted in Dublin

Well who would have thought it? Only 7 knots forecast today,so not much hope of windsurfing. Probably another day for practising freestyle on the Turfdog board on the beach, or go for a paddle on the SUP. The first suprise was the temperature: 24.5 degres !!

And then hang on... trees are moving? So a quick trip to the Estuary revealed about 17-18 knots.. with sun.. and it's warm.. HAPPY DAYS!
Went out sailing for 10 minutes with the wetsuit rolled down on top, and was too hot, so came in and put on the only shorts I had in the van... the denim ones I had been wearing all day. Not exactly boardies.. but did the job just fine !
Sailed for 4 hours before havig to put on a thermal vest. Still can't believe this is Ireland?!
Plenty of folks out...Carlos the mexican practising his flaming burritos, Andy R almost getting his first spock, and Tricia K hanging onto a bigger sail than the mexican (despite being at least 20 kilos lighter).

Enjoy the weather - see you on the water!!
